This month, we have not only Shinohayu but also Toki. It's a pretty short chapter but it's something. The Toki translation will be ready in a few days. Meanwhile, Shino...

Saki 302: Direct Climb
The Interhigh Final is at one of its most critical moments. Can anyone stop this climb?

Shinohayu 139: Miniature
This chapter's title is hinagata 雛形. Hina originally means 'baby bird' but it can also mean 'very young' or 'small'. Gata means shape or form. So things like small models and miniatures are known as hinagata. In different contexts, the same word can also be used for template, form, prototype, etc.
It's very likely that Ritz used this word mostly for the connection to 'bird', as is usual for Shinohayu chapters. So it doesn't change much if it gets translated as miniature, model, template or whatever.
On another note, Toki continues to be on hiatus as Mekimeki is recovering from some surgery. So no Toki chapter this month either.

Saki 301: The Path
It's finally Shizuno's turn to be dealer. Her last dealership. How far can she go...?

Saki 300: Deep in the mountains
We've finally made it to chapter number 300. This more or less coincides with the 20th anniversary of Saki's serialization, so it's 300 chapters in 20 years.

Shinohayu 138: Idol
Toki was not released this month. Only Shinohayu.

Saki 299: Serious
I was going to post this yesterday but then something happened and it got delayed. Thankfully, everything is fine now.

Toki 94: Change
I hope we'll see Fujishiro, the eyepatch girl, Sera, Toki and Ryuuka all together at some point...

Shinohayu 137: High School Champion
In chapter 126, a player's name was given as "Aria de la Cruz", then in this chapter (and the previous one) she is "Maria". I think this may be because the katakana for "A" and "MA" are kinda similar. So either the author or the BG editor wrote the wrong kana. Just wanted to point this out in case someone noticed.
Toki next week.

Saki 298: Control
I was thinking Saki will soon reach 300 chapters but actually "Round/Hand 1" was the 4th chapter (the first 3 chapters were counted differently), so this is already the 301st chapter of Saki. Also, Saki's chapter 1 was published in February 2006 but serialization only started in June 2006. If Round 300 is published next June, it will coincide with the 20th anniversary of serialization.

Saki 297: The Far Side & Toki 93: Close Friend
Saki. To infinity, and beyond!

Shinohayu 136: Lightning Strike
New volumes for each series have been released and Shinohayu is the featured series on the BG cover!
Toki next week, perhaps jointly with Saki.

Saki 296: Square
I wonder if the team final will end this year. Probably next year...

Shinohayu 135: Isolation Point
According to Ritz, even though the win for East 2 Bonus 1 is not shown in this chapter, it does happen and it will be added in the volume version.
On another note, the cover character for Saki's new volume (vol.27) was supposed to be Shizuno and Ritz already made the drawing for it but since Shizu will feature more prominently in vol.28, her drawing will be saved for that volume and this volume's cover will feature somebody else.

Toki 92: Comfort
Is it finally time for Toki and Ryuuka to strengthen their bond?
Sunday, January 25, 2026
Shinohayu 134: Deja Vu
Shinohayu returns with a short chapter but looks like we'll have a chapter next month too.
Toki next week.

Toki 91: After Pillow
This chapter's title (ato makura = after pillow) could also be translated as "Before and after" or "Front and rear" or several other generic meanings like that. However, given Toki & Ryuuka's history with lap pillows, it looks like the author just picked an obscure word that has "pillow" in it. So to keep the key word in the title, I went for a more literal translation.
