    about "kuro's birthday" dvd special, i cant seem to find the place to watch it.
    any idea where i can watch it, since nyaa is down right now?

      You'll have to get the torrent from somewhere else. Look for the raw from ReinForce. Unfortunately, there aren't any subs for it, I think.

    The story about Kuro’s birthday present first appeared in a manga special that was scanlated by TMNBE. I can’t say how faithful the anime adaptation was as I still haven’t seen it, but usually it’s very close.

      …TMNBE and La Kuro. Got distracted and missed that. Not that it changes my main message, which is that you can go read that manga issue (translated) rather than watch the anime episode (raw).

    there was a chapter about kuros' birthdays there, but there is no scene involving sera and her 30 yen.!

    watching the raw was worth it!

      The truth is, she dubbed Chachanon herself! In chapter 68 of the Saki manga, while playing against Hiroe, we can hear her thoughts and she refers to herself as "Chachanon".

      I just checked the translation at Batoto and in page 5 she thinks: "This tile should be all right...!" The meaning of her words is perfectly translated but a more literal translation would be "Chachanon's move is this...!"

      And this is where her nickname comes from.
