Saki Chapter 136: Conviction

OK, I've decided to pick up Saki and Saki Biyori. It would be a pity if it's left untranslated and I have plenty of time between Shinohayu chapters so why not. For now, here is Saki chapter 136. I hope you like it.

  15. Can anyone explain why on page 13 (file wise) it is indicated that the game is in South 3rd round, I think it should be in South 4th round 2 honba since the dealer order should be Davin > Yukiko > Nodoka > Kinue. It is clear enough that davin was the first dealer in east round because she won off of nodoka with a 12000 points dealer mangan hand. Seat rearrangement is not necessary in the south round of the same hanchan. Am I just misunderstood something here?

    1. You are right, there was a little mistake in the original that was not corrected in the translation (I guess I didn't notice at the time).

In page 3, where it says "SOUTH 1ST ROUND", it should say "EAST 4TH ROUND". Then South 1 is Nodoka's Ron 6400. South 2 is Davin and Yuki's tenpai. South 2 Bonus 1 is Kinue's Ron 8300. And finally on page 13, the game is in South 3 as the page says. The dealer order is just as you said.

The mistake was fixed when the volume was published months later but of course the translation was made from the magazine version.
