In chapter 1 on page 33, Ryuuka mumbles “…but it’s very… …muni…te…kara” when Toki asks why she chose her and knows so much about her. It seems now that she must’ve said “[datte totemo] hamumu ni niteru kara” (I don’t know what the exact original text was for the “but it’s very” line, hence the brackets), i. e. “I mean—you’re so like Hamumu”.
Just imagine when Toki & Ryuuka's IPS daughters ask them how they met. "I stalked Toki because she reminded me of my dead rat I actually cared about, haha". Being Toki is suffering. Seriously, does MekiMeki has a grudge against them or something?
They’re actually the same. Compare Ryuuka’s clothes in chapter 1 page 7 and page 8 to chapter 29 page 28. For Toki’s, look at the middle panel on page 28. The final panel on page 29 seems to be the Toki of now, to whom Ryuuka is retelling the whole story; that’s why her shirt is different.
Yes, I realized that when I read chapter 30. Before hadn't noticed that the flashback was over in the last panel of chapter 29. It makes sense this way.

You're right. That's what she must have said.
DeleteFor the record, the full original text is "datte sugoku...muni...te...kara". So yeah, "you are so like Hamumu" or "you remind so much of Hamumu".

It's quite amusing to compare Ryuuka's face when saying 'Good Morning' on this chapter to that same scene on chapter 1.
