Thanks for the chapter. In Toki there are some Toki centralization, but honestly it should be renamed to Ryuuka. Ryuuka as a charater has more depth.
In Achiga the points for each team really annoys me. Especially after Kuro says she's last place while the points show she's third place. I hope there will be greater reactions concerning the second tenhou unlike the main manga where it was over after a few pages. After all I believe first is luck, second is miracle, thus there should be more regarding it.
True about Ryuuka but Toki is the more popular character. I mean, should character depth be the main criteria for naming series? Maybe...
The points, it's a mistake with the scoreboard. Kuro/Achiga should have 4000 points less than what it says. At the end of the 1st half, Kuro has 61900 and Satoha 62500 so Kuro IS in last place. After the second Tenhou, Kuro should have 45900 instead of 49900 (page 28).
I only realized this now or I might have fixed it. Now it's too much hassle. However it's annoying because this mistake happened in the main manga too and they did it again here!
Oh wow. IIRC this isn’t the first time Ritz messes up scores, but you’d think she’d have learnt to double-check them by now!
When the first half ends and Kuro looks at the table, she is shown to have 61,900 points. Then Yuuki wins 16,000, and the monitor shows Kuro at 49,900. That’s only 12,000 down from 61,900, so I assume it’s supposed to be 45,900. Of course, I could cross-check with Saki, but that would require me to find the right chapters…
Also, for completion, in page 28, Kiyosumi should have 167100 and Shiraitodai 140500, both of them 2000 points higher than what it says. Rinkai's score is correct.
I wouldn't put all the blame on Ritz though. I doubt Ritz draws the scoreboards. This is more of an editorial mistake.

Thx for translations! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the good read. I really love the art style in Achiga and Shinohayu, cute and not revealing.
ReplyDeleteYes, Igarashi's art is very nice.
