There was no Shinohayu last month, so this time we get an extra long chapter, 49 pages! It was no easy task apparently and Igarashi Aguri thanked all those who contributed drawing backgrounds. Translation also took a bit longer than usual but it would be wonderful if all non-mahjong chapters were like this.
Thanks for the chapter.
ReplyDeleteEven than I would prefer a mahjong chapter. Still it's good, after all in the main manga in chapter 203 when Kokaji was reminiscing about her past opponents they were one of them, but in Shinohayu their characters weren't that prominent. So having a description of them is a plus for me.
Ah yes, the silhouettes in chapter 203. I guess from left to right are: Yuzuha, Chihiro, Kokoro, Chiyoko and... Naoko? behind the speech bubbles. Giving them more background story makes their future matches all the more exciting.
Deleteperhaps the last silhouette is uta?
Deletethe long cat things that she always bring explain the long thingy near the leg and she is second strongest in JP team afterall
(she wears short skirt instead of kimono because its her school uniform maybe)
Perhaps, but Uta is too young to play against Kokaji in high school. There is too much age difference.
DeleteAlways good to have a break from mahjong to explore some yuri.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the translation Akio!
ReplyDeleteIt feels like this is the most yuri Shinohayu chapter so far, so cute.
Really cute chapter. Great work as always. Thank you!
ReplyDeletei mean, in the fight againts kokoro, shino and nao, chiyoko doesnt seem to be that good to me.
ReplyDeletebut then in kokaji's memory, she might be one of the 6 player stronger than her.
guess in the end yuri power IS one of the strongest ability in sakiverse, just like ryuuka and tsuruta.
Kokaji also says she didn't get to play against all of them so maybe she was being modest when saying that they were ALL stronger. It might be that they are all part of the same strong team (except Shino of course) but it would be difficult to compare them one by one.
Deletepg 25, "where you going" -> "where are you going"
ReplyDeleteThanks, but that was intentional to make it sound more casual.
