Shizuku's surname before this chapter was written as のづ which is usually transcribed as Nozu. Depending on the romanization system used, it can also be written as Nodu or even Nodzu. These are all correct. I use Nozu because it's by far the most common way of transcribing it. However in this chapter it's written as のつ Notsu, which I assume is a mistake.
Also, Shizuku has a verbal tic of sometimes adding the word なんて nante at the end of her sentences. It has no real meaning in this context and naturally there is more than one way of translating it but I used "or something" which I think is quite close to the intended meaning.

ReplyDeleteAnd i have a question: Shizuku-san's second win with 11900 points feel kinda odd to me, because her hand is menzen tanpin sanshoku dora 1 worth 5 han so that mean mangan 12000 + 1 honba (bonus) = 12300 points. Is this the mistake in the RAW?
Yes, the mistake is in the raw. Nice catch by the way. I didn't notice until you mentioned it. Ritz will probably fix it in the volume release but I don't know if she'll fix the points value or the tiles in Shizuku's hand so I'm not gonna touch it.

DeleteAnd i also find another mistake in Saki newest chapter: the first win of that game, the winner (i forgot her name) declare it to have 3 dora, but the under tile is red 5 pin, so uradora is 6 pin not 6 sou so that hand only have 1 dora (the 2 man) and only worth 12000. This one is another RAW mistake, right?
