Those are weird rules, alright. A match that regulars can't complete by themselves, why even call them "regulars" at this point.^^ Also, tonpuusens with oka and uma encourages a playstyle I'm not a fan of. It feels like the rules don't favor Shino much. (Although, Yuuki would have a field day I guess. First tonpuusen, rest, third tonpuusen sounds like the perfect setup for her.^^)
The rules seem weird and way too complicated but I wonder if Ritz was trying to minimize the effect of having two middle schoolers in the tournament. If Shino plays 1 tonpuu out of 12, it's not like 1 hanchan out of 5.
