This chapter is a close retelling of Saki chapters 228 and 229. The wins and the expressions and everything is much more dramatic than in the original though. Anyway, it's Achiga only this month. Shinohayu is on break, as expected, and for "various reasons" (according to Mekimeki) Toki is also absent.

Saki 245: Made by Nature
This chapter has everything. Like, literally everything a Saki chapter could have: ridiculously large boobs, Kunihiro's butt, panels without tone, panels with tone, flashbacks, color pages, scoring mistakes, Kunihiro's butt (worth mentioning twice), panels with only a sketch, weird sci-fi stuff, ominous silhouettes... and even mahjong (a little bit). Well, I guess there is one thing missing and that is Saki herself, but you know how that works...
On a serious note, Ritz acknowledged a couple of mistakes in this chapter. First in page 8, it originally said 5200 (points) when it's actually 7700. This has been corrected in this translation. Second in page 9, the scores are not entirely right. No big differences though, just a few thousand points up or down, and everyone keeps their positions. But I'll give the correct scores here: 1st Rinkai 138000, 2nd Shiraitodai 112800, 3rd Kiyosumi 83300, 4th Achiga 65900 (currently in South 3).

Shinohayu 96 & Achiga 39
This month, we have all 3 series thankfully. Shinohayu and Achiga are below while Toki will be up sometime next week.
Shinohayu. Kanna's last hope...?
Achiga. We are still in Saki ch227 but also a continuation of the conversation in Achiga ch26.

Saki 244: Enma
The first thing you'll notice about this chapter is that it has quite a few non-inked, no-tone panels. Nothing that we haven't seen before but it's been ages since we had such an unfinished chapter. Ritz must have been at the limit here.
About the chapter's title. Enma is the Japanese name for the King of Hell in Buddhist mythology, also known as King Yama. We could localize the chapter and replace Enma with "King of Hell" but I thought it was better to leave it like that.
Finally, there is one confusing, ambiguous line in page 11 so let's clarify it here. Rinkai's coach says that in semifinals, Myeonghwa got the top score in that "section".
Hmm, okay but what is that "section"? Does it mean the lieutenant match?
But no, that can't be because the top scorer in the
lieutenant match of semifinals was Hisa. Myeongwha was merely 3rd and
she didn't "pull ahead of the others", rather both Hisa and Hiroe
shortened the point gap with her.
Well, it turns out Myeonghwa was the
winner of the first hanchan of semifinals. That's what that "section"
must mean here. This is not easy to figure out because the mid-game scores were not given (this was in chapter 123) and it needs to be calculated manually.

Saki 243: Crowd
That first double page is very nice but it's hard to say if this really happened or if it's just a symbolic image in Hisa's mind for the many people she has met thanks to mahjong. Dream and reality seem to mix together in this chapter.

Shinohayu 95: Forward
This chapter is a bit longer than usual at 35 pages. Resolution is also higher now just as they did with the other magazine. However, this is the only spinoff this month. Achiga was not released as Ritz couldn't finish the rough draft on time (for the second month in a row). Igarashi even drew a little comic about Ritz confessing to the sergeants the draft is not ready and Sumire responds by shooting an arrow at Ritz lol. Toki was already scheduled to skip this issue. It seems all 3 series will be back next month with color pages though.
Anyway, have fun with Shino!
