Ritz made a blog post a couple of weeks ago with a few answers to reader's questions. Nothing too important but I wrote a translation below if you are interested.

- Kanbara's car was handed over to her by her mother.

- Toki and Saki Biyori are treated as canon.

- When Mairu speaks to Himeko in chapter 189, she uses polite language because in her mind she is no longer club president. (At the end of the chapter, when Mairu says "Let's play in the same team again sometime" she uses the polite form instead of the casual one.)

Thanks for the chapter. I think it's pretty much confirmed that Takami will win a yakuman, because if not after she won this hand it would feel less satisfying, considering it's the finals.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the chapter. The 1sou discard is interesting so Shibuya's harvest probably doesn't extend to her first discards in all last.
ReplyDeleteGiven how she said "I have no choice. I gotta do it now" before harvesting, I assume that she can choose if/when to "harvest" to some extent. Maybe only during the last hand? So she figured she'd have a better chance with the hand she harvested rather than planting more and going for a repeat?
DeleteI guess it might possible for Shibuya to continue gathering tiles by winning dealer repeats, but once she activates "harvest time" then she can no longer do that.
DeleteIf she tried collecting more tiles though, she risked losing everything, so she had to harvest now and at least win something. Now she gets another chance and that might be the yakuman.
Learning that Saki Biyori is canon is simply awesome. Pretty nice to know that all those characters that are often in tense moments in the main series also have the time to goof around.
