I'll be honest, this isn't the most exciting of chapters. It advances the story and that's good but it feels like Mekimeki could have moved a little faster with this whole "Nanami's data" thing. That said, I'm still curious to know what happened to Fujishiro Nanami, especially since we know she will be Senriyama's ace one day.

ReplyDeleteSeriously I really look forward to find out more about Nanami, like about her power, which seems like looking into ones heart and influencing it. And I hope in the future there will be chapter about her and Teru having a match against each other.
If there was a Teru spinoff about her past interhighs, maybe we could see that match.

DeleteI have some new predictions based on chapter 46:
DeletePrediction 1 :Due to some unknown reasons, the Fujishiro family had a serious internal dispute, causing them to split-up either emotionally or profitably. The internal dispute was not correctly solved, so the division and conflict in their family became inevitable, causing their conditions of living become unstable. As a result, Fujishiro family separated into several parts, Nanami eventually have to choose side or seek for help of her relatives. If the granny of Shimeki Diner is their relative, this prediction will be consistent to itself, and the radical change of Nanami may be caused by Shimeki's grandmother.
Prediction 2: Fujishiro's parents died, so she needs to find another people to rely on, and during that time she felt unease and anxiety.
These predictions may not be right, since I make these predictions based on Miyanaga's family history, maybe the real case will be more complicated than we think.
Moreover, this plot which satisfy my previous predictions makes me feel excited and anticipated. We may be able to see how Toki react after knowing Nanami behaves one year ago and "the maid is Nanami herself", and the impact on all of the characters, or maybe their reason to go to Senriyama High School afterwards. I think the main play has just started now.
Yes, family trouble could the reason but there should be some connection to mahjong, I think. She was so confident in her skills one year ago but she played herself down a lot when talking to Toki. Where did all that confidence go?
