Hoarding the dora all the time is very effective for slowing down Teru. Imagine if Teru had all the doras at her disposal, she'd be even stronger. So Kuro is doing her part of the job. The problem is, it's a passive ability so it's not as cool as actively trying to do something like Yuuki or Satoha or Toki or Subara...
Also, in this chapter, Kuro tries to help Yuuki by discarding a risky middle tile, the 5m, but it just happens that Yuuki can't call that tile.
That 5m was Yuuki's discard because it discard pile right to Teru discards (hard to see how she got it tho), and i agree that Achiga getting a lot of "love" from Ritz
This may be the last match we see Yuuki and Kuro playing since they aren't in the individuals and we don't know much about other tournaments, so I'm hoping one of them will be the one to do something now. And with that flashback at the start of the chapter, I feel like I can have some hopes.
Yes, it seems like Yuuki could win this hand. She's called three times and the others are trying to help her. Then again, I wouldn't count Satoha out just yet.

The 5m is Yuuki's discard after the pon. It joins her previous discards and Kuro discards all her tiles upside down.
