Saki 211: Partner

To give a little more context to Davin's words, rinkai means 'waterfront' in Japanese and there is a small section of Tokyo's waterfront area called Rinkai Town. In Ritz's old manga Fatalizer, Rinkai is mentioned as a whole new ward that the city has created in Tokyo Bay. It is an island and it seems to be the same in the Saki world.

  2. question is, what does satoha means by partner?
    its either:
    1. Satoha was once Teru partner (junior championship is a team match)
    2. Teru is like 2nd to the worlds junior champions
    3. Teru is World's junior champions partner (as in friendly term)

    1. That's a good question. We have no further clues at the moment. The original uses the word "aibou" (which means partner) with the furigana for paatonaa (partner) next to it.

      But I would guess it's either 1 or 3. I don't see why partner would mean 2nd.

If Teru and Satoha were two of the players selected by Kumakura Toshi to play in the world juniors last year, that would make them partners. It doesn't matter if there was a team match or not, they both took part so they were partners.
