Thanks for the translation! It's quite impressive how much this match has redeemed Awai, she's one of my favourite characters now... Although, killer move n°8 is a bit much.
If Awai gets 18,600 points straight from Shizuno in the next chapter, then the match will end in a (possible) Shiraitodai victory. I have a feeling Ritz won't.
Whenever we see 3 players' hands but not the fourth, I'm always inclined to believe that this fourth player will win the hand. So yeah, I totally expect Awai to once deal into Shizuno this hand.
Ty for the translation. Interestingly, I think this was the first mention of Saki's grandma here and it's kinda cool to think that mahjong is a multi-generational skill with her family. I'm guessing the grandma is from Saki's mother's side as that would neatly tie in Hikaru's previously mentioned skill in mahjong.
