Initially, I was going to release Toki first but they ended up overlapping so it's a double release!
Saki's chapter title is a very obscure Japanese word and it's not clear from the chapter why Ritz picked that title but, in my interpretation, Saki, Shizuno and Awai are the "rabbits" trapped in Nelly's "cage". Could be something else, I don't know but anyway here's the chapter...
It's been awhile since the last Toki chapter but we are in the middle of the "match of the desperate" with Yokeguchi Yayoi and Shirosaka Kaori as main opponents...
Thanks for the chapters!
ReplyDeleteSo the secret savings are... knights? Shizuno declaring that she'll be fine as long as she doesn't go bust is hilarious. Come on, do you think you can get a Miracle Rush in South 3 or something?^^
ReplyDeleteThanks for the translation.
Knights with shields.
DeleteI feel like Shizu is set as the final peak which Saki needs to bloom from, so I'll be surprised if she doesn't go wild at the end.
DeleteThanks for the chapter. Grandma said beautiful, I think it's about losing the game without giving up until the end.
ReplyDeleteHell yeah knights in my Mahjong manga is awesome! And why did Awai suddenly lose 50 pounds? 😂
ReplyDeleteShe used up her mahjong power
Deleteand after the last round, she will be flat!
DeleteSaki will stop Nelly's dealer with Kan. Unfortunately, it's not a direct hit on Nelly. It would be interesting if Saki did it, but it seems unlikely.
ReplyDeleteI don't think she can be stopped easily. Maybe the next win still san-bai-man.
DeleteWhile it's not easy, stopping Nelly's next Sanbaiman isn't impossible. Looking at Awai's discarded cards and Saki's card arrangement in the last 2-3 pages, there's a chance Saki will perform kan and tsumo before Nelly gets her second Sanbaiman. The question is which card Shizuno will discard, whether it'll side with Nelly or Saki. I think Shizuno will help Saki too.
Deletehow many bonus there are in each south round? for example in this chapter it was bonus 1
DeleteThere isn't a fixed amount of bonus each round. If the dealer wins a hand, they play a bonus. Or if no one wins but the dealer is in tenpai, they also play a bonus. If the dealer keeps winning, there could be many bonuses. If the dealer loses, no bonus and they move to the next round.
Deletehow many rounds left before the end of the match after this chapter?
Deleteif without bonus 3 rounds left, I think.
DeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteNelly's so certain of her victory that I'm expecting her to lose on her 3rd hand. Maybe with a cheap hand from Saki just to give her a false sense of security before the inevitable Shizuno and Saki dealer repeats that drag on for 20 chapters.
ReplyDelete" that drag on for 20 chapters"
Delete*for 20 volumes
